About The Speech House Hotel
A restaurant and bar sit at the centre of The Speech House Hotel, giving guests a proper spot for breakfast, dinner or a quiet drink after a day exploring the surrounding Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire. The hotel's setting, right on Speech House Road in Coleford, makes it a natural base for anyone visiting the forest, with a pub and further restaurants and eateries also found nearby.
There are 35 rooms in total, each stocked with drinks and served by a lift, so access is straightforward whatever floor you're on. Beyond the restaurant and bar, the hotel offers a gym, a spa and sauna, free WiFi, a garden to relax in, and luggage storage for those breaking up a longer journey. Meeting rooms and business services are available too, and the property doubles as a wedding venue, making it as suited to a celebration as to a simple overnight stay. Pets are welcome, and free on-site parking is provided throughout.
The historic character of the building runs through the place, giving it a distinct sense of place rather than a generic hotel feel.
