Avona Escapes

Absolutely love this little gem, always clean & tidy, good showers & facilities and is in the perfect location, fantastic views and walks straight from the site. Have had visits to my van from all the friendly animals, peacocks, Spud the Alpaca and a cheeky cat. And at a bargain cost. One of my faves to stay, have been here several times and will defo be back soon. 5*

What a fantastic place to stay 😃. When I arrived as a solo motorcyclist I was given a really warm welcome By Dan and Peter they couldn’t have been more helpful explaining everything about the campsite and where everything is for my stay. Peter suggested a fire pit hire kit🪵🔥 which was delivered to me as I was pitching my tent, that was everything you need to have a great camp fire it really made the evening as the sun went down taking in the view’s , the site offered amazing scenery, the facilities were very clean and excellent hot showers, so much more, outside shelter area to sit, drying and charging areas brilliant they’ve thought of facilities you really wouldn’t expect. awesome stuff 👍🏻. I must mention that Peter was a perfect chap to have on site very professional and working really hard to keep everything running smoothly and keeping security on site to a high standard, if leaving your pride and joy behind while you explore the Cloud, Excellent work 👌🏻, Avona Escapes definitely made my stay one to remember and I will definitely be recommending and returning in the future, just to mention as well I came as a loan rider and went away with friends to stay in touch with, Awesome work Avona Escapes 😎 Thanks, you got it perfectly right 👍🏻👍🏻🇬🇧 by the way the Alpacas 🦙 and peacocks 🦚 roaming freely were great 😃🤘🏻 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a fabulous weekend here. Very chilled and relaxed. Pete was really helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. The composting toilets were clean and well stocked. Always smelt fresh. Showers were great. Great location for heading out on the bikes with great roads nearby. Can't wait to visit again.

Avona is an Amazing Beautifully well thought out site. It's adults only & mainly for bikers, but does allow tents & small campervans. It has Glamping pods. We've just spent 2 nights in our campervan & nothing was to much trouble for Pete, who was looking after the site for the owners. He is a wonderful character. The Alpaca's & Peacocks meet you at the gate, they also have Ducks, Meerkat's & Wallabies. Site was spotless. Toilets spotless. Very peaceful & relaxing, some walks outside the site. We will definitely be making this a regular site for my weekends off.
