Beckett Cottage

Beckett Cottage is a substantial Victorian-era stone house in the seaside village of Rhos on Sea, with enough space for ten people across five double bedrooms and three bathrooms. The ground floor centres on a generous open-plan kitchen and dining room where groups naturally gather; upstairs, bedrooms are distributed across two further floors, two with ensuite showers. A games room and separate sitting room give flexibility for different activities without anyone feeling cramped.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering holidays of any length, with an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and the kind of appliances that mean you can cook properly rather than just heat up. Essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are provided, along with Wi-Fi throughout. The enclosed garden is the real draw: it contains a private hot tub for six, garden furniture and parking for two cars. One well-behaved pet stays free.

Rhos on Sea itself is a low-key coastal village with a long pebble beach and a seafront promenade lined with independent cafés and seafood restaurants. The coastal path runs through here, offering walks towards Llandudno or quieter inland routes via Bryn Euryn Nature Reserve. The property suits large families or groups looking for self-catering space rather than somewhere intimate; it's not a place designed around views or quaintness, but rather around the practicalities of cooking, sleeping and relaxing a lot of people at once. No smoking indoors.
