The Conwy Valley offers immediate appeal: Bodnant Garden is a short drive away, village walks start from your doorstep, and the peaks and foothills of Snowdonia rise within sight. Conwy Castle stands a few miles north. A local pub lies across the fields about a mile on foot, and a farm shop is nearby by car. This makes Kestrel View a good base for anything from a gentle afternoon in a famous garden to a full day's mountain hiking.
The barn conversion itself occupies a quiet spot high above Eglwysbach, with two bedrooms sleeping four. One has a king bed and en-suite; the other is twin, served by a family bathroom with a freestanding tub. The living space is contemporary in feel, with natural stone floors, a fireplace and a sun room that opens onto a viewing deck facing the Carneddau and Snowdonia ranges. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering. Essentials including electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. The standout feature is the private hot tub on the balcony, positioned to take in the valley views.
One well-behaved dog can come. The property is non-smoking. Arrival is after 4pm and departure before 10am.

Stayed here for a week - grandparents and granddaughter. The cottage is lovely, well equipped and very clean. The owner is very helpful and responds quickly. The balcony is wonderful. We ate there a few evenings to enjoy the views. The cottage is perfect for a stay in the area.

We have just returned from a wonderful break at Castleview. The cottage is cosy and homely. The views from the balconies are wonderful and we especially enjoyed sitting at the top in the evening listening to the birds and Spotting the bats after dark! Our son especially loved the access to the castle walls and many a sword fight was won to defend it! Conwy is a beautiful town and we enjoyed all it has to offer including the castle, Smallest house and many of the bars and restaurants. We will certainly be back!!! Many thanks to Jackie for looking after us and welcoming us to her beautiful cottage.

This is a beautiful cottage in the heart of Conwy. Well kept and well furnished, it was cosy and home from home. It’s close to the centre where there are fab eateries and local pubs like ‘The Albion’ and right near the castle walls where you can take in a bit of history. We had an amazing time and would definitely return.

Excellent location, the view from terrace at sunrise was incredible - a gem nestled in amongst castle walls. Stayed with two children who absolutely loved the cottages decor and holiday home feel. Will definitely return.
