The Gable House
Conwy

The Gable House is a converted barn set in the grounds near Eglwysbach, sleeping seven across three bedrooms and one bathroom. What makes it stand out is the private hot tub positioned to face south-west across the Conwy Valley towards the Carneddau and Snowdonia ranges—the kind of view that justifies lingering in the water long after the sun goes down. The property itself mixes rural peace with considered comfort: underfloor heating throughout, a woodburning fireplace, granite and marble bathrooms, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. Original artwork by a local artist hangs on the walls.
The open-plan living space flows into a kitchen and dining area where you can prepare meals, and a private balcony gives you a quieter place to sit. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The location suits anyone wanting to walk straight into the landscape—there are trails nearby, and Bodnant gardens (National Trust, over 100 acres) lies in the village. A pub sits about a mile away across fields, with some steep sections. The Bodnant Welsh Food farm shop is a five-minute drive. Smoking is not permitted.
