Little Barn

Little Barn is a converted farmhouse on a 40-acre working property in Conwy, well equipped for self-catering stays. The ground floor holds the living and dining space, with a wood burner, Freeview television and DVD player, plus a kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge-freezer. Upstairs, a double bedroom is reached by spiral stairs. The shower room is on the ground floor. Wifi, bed linen, towels and heating are included; logs for the burner are available locally.

The cottage suits couples and families with small children, for whom a travel cot and highchair are on hand. On-site parking is provided. A patio with garden furniture overlooks the farmland setting, though note there is an unfenced stream in the grounds. From here, Colwyn Bay's beaches are seven miles away and Llandudno's attractions—Victorian pier, cable car up the Great Orme, dry ski slope—sit within ten miles. Snowdonia's climbing, walking and outdoor activities are an easy drive to Betws-y-Coed; Swallow Falls lie nearby. Conwy town, a World Heritage Site ringed by medieval walls and home to Conwy Castle, is close enough for a morning visit. Bodnant Garden and a range of local golf, riding, fishing and walking complete the picture.
