Stable Barn

Stable Barn is a converted farmhouse on a 40-acre working farm in Conwy, set up well for families and groups of six. The property gives you three bedrooms—one with a king bed and ensuite, a second king bedroom, and a twin room—plus a second bathroom and separate toilet. Downstairs, an open-plan living space has a wood burner, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, and a dining area. There's parking on site, and you have the run of the grounds, which include a garden with patio and furniture.

The essentials are covered: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included. The kitchen lets you cook proper meals, and logs for the wood burner are available locally. A travel cot and highchair are on hand for younger children. The property is non-smoking throughout.

Colwyn Bay's sandy beaches are seven miles away, and Llandudno—with its Victorian pier, cable cars to the Great Orme and dry ski slope—sits just under ten miles off. Conwy town itself, ringed by medieval walls and home to a castle, is nearby. For walkers and outdoor types, Snowdonia and Betws-y-Coed are within easy reach. If you ride, the farm can arrange horse stabling on request at additional cost.
