Llys Deulyn comes with everything you need already in place. The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher and washer-dryer; the living room holds a 43-inch smart TV with Netflix, a DVD player and a Nintendo Wii; heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included, along with initial logs for the wood burner. A travel cot and highchair are available if you ask. One dog stays free and the owners provide a welcome pack with treats, bowls, leads, towels, a sleeping mat and information about dog-friendly walks in the area.
The cottage sits in the hillside village of Trefriw within Gwydir Forest Park, close enough to the Gwydyr Forest for walking and cycling. Downstairs spreads across a living room and separate dining room with an open aspect between them; upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a double bed and ensuite shower, one with two singles—plus a bathroom with a bath and shower. The enclosed garden overlooks the River Crafnant. Trefriw itself has two pubs, a restaurant and brasserie, a butcher, a café and the Trefriw Woollen Mill; Llyn Crafnant lake with its tearoom is a short drive, and Llanrwst with its 17th-century bridge and Gwydir Castle lies a few miles further on. Betws-y-Coed is six miles away. No smoking indoors.
