About The Quay Hotel & Spa
The Quay Hotel & Spa sits on Deganwy Marina, on the opposite bank of the Conwy estuary from the old town, with rooms and public areas looking directly across the water to Conwy Castle. It is a modern, purpose-built hotel rather than a historic conversion, and its scale and leisure facilities set it apart from the smaller, older properties inside the town walls.
The hotel's spa includes treatment rooms, a pool and gym facilities, and its restaurant and bar make use of the marina outlook as much as the castle view. Rooms are generally larger than those found in Conwy's older coaching inns, with a contemporary finish throughout, and several rooms and suites are geared towards the estuary view specifically.
Being across the water in Deganwy rather than inside Conwy's walls, the hotel suits visitors who want easier parking and more space than a town-centre stay typically offers, with Conwy itself a short drive around the estuary or a longer walk via the bridges, and Llandudno's shops and promenade also close by.

AMAZING!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is our no.1 hotel for any celebration/trip & this time was our wedding anniversary. As always it was a wonderful stay & we had a fabulous room with garden area overlooking the estuary & castle. 👌🏼 On checking-in we found petals on the bed 😁 & a lovely card to congratulate us & also to celebrate me passing my exams! A lovely touch. 🥰 I can't praise this hotel enough. The facilities are second to none & the rooms have that wow factor. The spa is the best I've been to from Anglesey to Llandudno, it is spotless & well maintained. The 2 restaurants don't disappoint either. Well presented & delicious with a fabulous maitre de who was really helpful & happy to chat. Breakfast is plentiful with many continental & hot breakfast options available. Another wonderful stay that I'm already planning our return.😁 You're perfect as you are, please never change! 😃⭐️❤️

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) Stunning Views, Surprising Shortcomings The views are the headline act here, and rightly so. The setting and location are spectacular, the included spa access is a real bonus, and our room was modern, spacious and comfortable. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly, efficient and genuinely helpful. The biggest disappointment was the Ebb & Flow restaurant. While the food was beautifully presented and tasted very good, the portions were so small they bordered on comical. The "lamb fritter" left us wondering where the lamb had gone, and half a carrot later, we walked away genuinely hungry. The restaurant staff dealt with our comments professionally and with understanding, so the issue certainly wasn't the service. It felt more like a case of a chef's ego getting in the way of common sense, with presentation taking priority over providing a satisfying meal. Fine dining should leave you impressed, not looking for a takeaway on the way home. Overall, we'd happily return to the hotel for its stunning location, excellent facilities and welcoming staff—but we'd think twice before booking dinner at Ebb & Flow.

Clean, comfortable, friendly, and well situated between Conwy and Llandudno. Lovely views over the eater and only a short walk to bus stop or train station, so the car can be kept behind. A tad on the pricey side, but it's worth it. The spa can be accessed in the evening with swimming pool, steam room, sauna, infra red sauna, and himalayan salt room available at no extra cost from 17:00 until 21:00. Would I go back - absolutely YES.

I booked the spa day (morning ritual) for my girlfriend’s birthday. 9am-1pm including lunch… was absolutely brilliant, the service, the spa, and all the facilities. My girlfriend loved the facial, and I had a massage which was lovely. The price was great for what you get included, food was 10/10! Will be coming back defo!. My girlfriend has been to many spa days and that was her favourite one out the lot. Thank you!🙏
