About Acorn Camping and Glamping
Tucked into quiet Cornish countryside near St Blazey, Acorn Camping and Glamping strikes a nice balance between back-to-basics pitches and characterful glamping options. You can bring your own tent to a simple grass pitch (all non-electric) or book into one of the site's shepherd's huts, bell tents or cosy glamping cabins and burrows. Campfires are encouraged, lending evenings a proper outdoorsy feel, and facilities cover the essentials with showers, toilets and drinking water on hand.
It's a family-friendly spot that keeps things peaceful by not allowing pets, though you'll need to manage without WiFi – which many will see as part of the charm. A few visitors mention the site can feel a touch tired in places, but most appreciate the laid-back vibe and the easy access to Cornwall's south coast and Eden Project nearby.

What visitors say
We stayed in the hobbit hole and thought it was lovely. The view was good, it felt private and had a lovely deck where we cooked and later star gazed in the evenings. The roads are a little thin to get here but that is to be expected. One thing we didnt realise was that there were no power sockets at the point of our stay and so had to charge devices in the car. This wasn't an issue but would have been helpful to understand in advance. We would recommend to bring a torch and flip flops for loo runs in the evening ;)

Had a lovely weekend stay with my partner in the hobbit huts, it was fairly cold when we went but the huts were surprisingly warm still, we had a great time relaxing by a fire cooking on the gas stove they provide.

The perfect spot! Absolutely beautiful place, me and my partner were only there for one night but wish we had more time! We camped but the hobbit holes and other accommodation looked lovely. All facilities are good, hot showers and normal toilets, fridge/freezer and a cafe (wasn’t open when we stayed but looks great!). So much to explore in the woods and we found a great spot for the hammock all afternoon. 10/10 place to bring kids - will be recommending it to all friends and family We did the prideoux wood walk to get there and then walked over the viaduct and to Luxulyan the next day
