Took a punt on this campsite not knowing anything about it, we were pleasantly surprised! Great value for money, great service. Warden was very kind and helpful, checking once a day if everyone on the campsite was happy with everything. Fire pits and logs available to hire. Trains passing every now and again but didn’t bother us, and we were pitched adjacent to the train tracks. Horse box showers were hot and clean. Would definitely camp here again.

A wonderful spot! We tried calling ahead but couldn't get through, so chanced it. Phil the owner was so welcoming as was Kit. exactly what you need, 2 large fields with compost toilets, washing up facility and 2 showers in horseboxes! lovely hot shower. we were gutted we found this on our last night, otherwise would of stayed longer! Thank you for a fab experience, we will be back!

Excellent kid friendly site. Perfectly located in the middle of the thinnest part of Cornwall, you can get to the north or the south coast in 10 minutes from here. Lands end is 30 minutes away and makes a nice day trip. The night sky is excellent here. Exceptionally low levels of night pollution means you can sit back with a beer and see the milky way, the ISS, many shooting stars and loads of satellites passing over. Firepits are available for hire and you can buy bags of wood from Kit the friendly warden who is always up for a nice chat. Top camp site. It's basic, but exceptionally good value for money. The location, space, value for money and quite backdrop are real selling points. We will definitely be back next year.

Ideal site! Everything you need, loos/shower/sinks etc and 2 large, flat fields. Used as a base for cycling the West Kernow Way - is on the route - was perfect, but would suit many uses. Phil is great, really helpful and super-friendly. Definitely returning.
