Tucked between Bodmin Moor and the Tamar Valley, Fanolas Farm offers proper rural seclusion with sweeping views across farmland to the moor beyond. Your accommodation here is a solar-powered converted horse lorry in its own private paddock – complete with double bed, woodburning stove, full bathroom and an open-air wood-fired hot tub where you can soak under the stars. It's a genuinely remote hideaway, perfect for switching off entirely, yet Liskeard and Callington are both around 15 minutes' drive when you need shops or supplies. Four pubs serving food sit within four miles, and the area's well stocked with farm shops, cafés and tearooms to keep you fuelled. Guests consistently praise the tranquil setting and thoughtful touches, though with just one pitch, you'll need to book well ahead to secure this peaceful corner of Cornwall.

This gorgeous place! We had such a lovely stay. Everything had been thought about for us in advance. The furnishings were high standard, the bathroom luxurious, the beds even more comfortable than home! The kitchen was fully equipped with some extra treats! The living space was ideal. Open, comfortable well appointed. The views were breathtaking. The WiFi was strong. The private car parking spaces was gravelled and lite well if needed in the evenings. The lack of noise or light pollution was absolute. The peace was restorative. The full view of the night sky was wonderful. We stayed in February and the owner had pre heated this lovely accommodation in advance of our arrival. Extra point to make. The owners have done such a thoughtful, creative and in tune job of the internal decor. Someone is an absolute artist. Thank you, Vee (Ray and family).
