Sea views come as standard at Godrevy Wilds, a small site in an enviable spot between the A30 and Cornwall's north coast. From your pitch you'll look out towards Gwithian beach and Godrevy Lighthouse – a stunning panorama at any time, but particularly spectacular at sunset hour. It's a splendid base for a Cornish coastal break, whether you're planning surf lessons, coast path walks or simply lazy days on the sand.
True to its name, this is a deliberately simple, low-impact site where facilities are kept to essentials – a couple of toilets, one shower and a cold-water washing-up area – to preserve that peaceful wild-camping atmosphere for visitors and wildlife alike. Guest numbers stay low too, ensuring everyone has plenty of space. The vibe is relaxed and friendly, though it's not a party site: no music and no noisy groups allowed.
Getting out is easy, with the A30 moments away for quick runs to Hayle's supermarkets (10 minutes) or St Ives' galleries (20 minutes). Closer still, a couple of cafés and pubs sit within two miles, and it's a five-minute drive or 35-minute stroll to Godrevy and Gwithian's golden shores.

A lovely little campsite. Stayed for one night in a pitch overlooking the coast. Hot water shower, 30 minute walk/5 minute drive to the beach, friendly cows in the neighbouring field.

Lovely campsite with an amazing view down to the beach and lighthouse. Pitch sizes were very comfortable and facilities clean and well kept. Zoe and her family were excellent hosts, we'll be back soon!

Its a magical place, the energy is absolutely amazing, the people who stay there are very relaxed. When you enter the site its so quiet - the toilets are 5 minutes walk away from pitches so a bit of a treck but apart from that my favourite campsite in Cornwall and we stayed at real gem ones 😉 just sheer amount of quiet is astonishing - only 15 pitches ... and so small... at night so many stars
