About Travelodge Hayle

A bar and restaurant on site mean guests at Travelodge Hayle don't need to venture out for a meal or an evening drink, and breakfast is available each morning before setting off for the coast. The hotel sits right on the A30 at Carwin Roundabout, making it a straightforward stop for exploring St Ives, Penzance and the surrounding Cornish beaches.

There are 39 rooms across two floors, including family-sized options and accessible rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and drinks available in-room. Beds are comfortable and the family rooms have enough space to spread out, though some rooms are better kept than others, so it's worth flagging any issues with staff, who are generally helpful and quick to sort things out.

Free on-site parking is available at the front of the hotel on a first-come, first-served basis, and there's an electric vehicle charge point for those who need it. Pets are welcome, and nearby facilities cover golf, fishing, watersports and entertainment, plus further pubs and restaurants within easy reach for anyone wanting a change from the hotel's own dining room.

What guests say

Isabel Wade

The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The family room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable and very clean. The only downside was that the room had an unusual smell. We were moved to a different room without any hesitation, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the second room also had a slight odour, although it wasn't as noticeable as the first. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and the excellent service from the staff made a positive difference.

Standard adequate travellodge room, slight wear and tear. Good bed, clean and bathroom was fine. No AC, fan was provided. Staff were very helpful. We had room on 1st floor, no issue with smells, there were a few guests staying on the ground floor with dogs. Near to A road, so some traffic noise

Location: Not easy to walk into town from the Lodge. No pavement or path so need to walk down the main road (in the road) or on the grass. Rooms: The room we had stank of wet dog. Really unpleasant even for dog lovers. Travelodge please invest in some shake n vac! Service: Excellent from all the staff. General: Bog standard Lodge with good parking. Would recommend in.spitr.of the above issues.

Room was nice and spacious m, bathroom had a bit of mold in the corner above the bath and the shower curtain rail had rust on it, loo lid was wonky. Beside all of the above we were greeted by a lovely gentleman and in the evening a very friendly and chatty lady who recommended the farm up the road which is a must for excellent food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very quiet and peaceful.
