About Premier Inn Hayle
Premier Inn Hayle works well for anyone touring Cornwall's beaches on a budget rather than looking for a destination hotel in itself - families packing the car for St Ives and Carbis Bay, golfers, walkers, or drivers who want free parking sorted before they even check in. With 74 rooms across two floors, it has the scale to handle a steady flow of holidaymakers without losing the essentials of a comfortable stay.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, comfy beds and decent showers, plus drinks available in-room, though a few have been reported as needing a bit more upkeep. There's a restaurant and bar on site along with breakfast service, so evenings and mornings are covered without needing to head out, and free WiFi and 24 hour reception add convenience for both business stopovers and family trips. Accessible rooms and an electric vehicle charge point are also available.
Outside the hotel, Hayle puts golf, fishing and horse riding within reach, alongside nearby pubs and restaurants for those who fancy a change of scene. St Ives and Carbis Bay are close by for beach days, making this a practical stopover for exploring West Cornwall rather than a place to linger indoors.

Very clean and welcoming! Rooms fulfilled the requirements of the trip! Brilliant service and hospitality throughout the trip, receptionist Jamie! Outstanding host, the friendly smile and welcoming when returning to the hotel and also asking how the day went or if we needed anything! Top class!

this needs to be shared with head office. the best thing about this hotel was the closeness (6 miles) to st ives. I'm assuming that accounts for the cost because it was considerably more expensive per night than any other premier inn I've stayed in. however it did not live up to premier inn standards! in fact flea pit comes to mind and there was a clear whiff of insect repellent. everything looked dirty and extremely run down. the bathroom still has a shower curtain and the soap dispenser was broken mouldy and crusty ( they did clean it when I asked) the curtain in the bedroom was so short that light shone through from outside. no plugs on the bedside and staff had to source and extension so I could use medical equipment. 2 USB plugs but only 1 worked. overall not a pleasant stay. btw there is no way the restaurant received 5 stat hygiene points. food was terrible including breakfast. se staff were ok. no air con although a fan was provided

Good part of the stay: The location was fine. Connecivity to some of the good beaches around. The lady at the desk was friendly and partially addressed my concerns. McDonald's otherside of carpark and over the road is a retail park. M&S foods serves great breakfast :) Ugly part of the stay: We were given the room at far end. The room was poorly lit, felt dark & damness as soon as we entered. Nothing like the Premier inn rooms. Upon inspecting, I found the curtails & the window net had moulds. Since my child's bed was right next to this, I requested the manager at the desk to swap the rooms. However, she mentioned that she could not accomodate this request, and just agreed to change the curtains, thankfully. I had booked for two nights. To my disgust, nothing was cleaned nor replaced the next day in the room and the bathroom.

A cheaper stay than St. Ives. Parking is also easier. Bed is comfortable and room was clean. I have stayed in better Premier Inns though. No hand towels available throughout. Was told to use a bath towel instead as it is the same!! No it really isn’t. Air con does not work but a small fan was provided. Meals are served in the adjacent Brewers Fayre. Food is ok but not the cleanliness with dirty and sticky tables.
