We had a one night stay here on the way to Fowey and everything is excellent! The lady on reception could not have been friendlier and was willing to go beyond expectations. The facilities are the best I have ever used and the view from the grass pitch for small tents was fab. The walk to Mevagissey was around 35-40 minutes and taxi £9 back. We would come again without hesitation. It was also incredibly quiet if you ignore the loudest snoring bloke I have ever heard in the tent next to us… brilliant!

We recently stayed at Heligan Campsite as we wanted to visit the lost Gardens of Heligan so staying on the site meant we couldn't be any closer and it couldn't have been any more convenient. Our stay at Heligan on Tuesday and Wednesday 7th & 8th April 2026 was the first time we had stayed at Heligan campsite, the primary reason for our stay there was of the purposes of visiting the Lost gardens which has been on our to do list for some time. From the first approach to the campsite the impression was very good. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The sweeping entrance away from the reception to the site through the canopy of trees was beautiful. The overriding impression of the site was how clean and tidy it was with the roadways and pitches very well neatly kept and presented with lots of wide open areas and plenty of lovely open space and grassy areas between the camping and pitches. The facilities in the toilet and shower block were excellent and amongst the best we had found on any site we have stayed on, we have never found a block with underfloor heating though so that was a lovely and welcome surprise and a great idea. There was even a fish & chip van that turned up what a bonus that was. The campsite has a lovely peaceful and tranquil feel to it and night time campsite etiquette is observed appropriately. There really is nothing to complain about or criticise, we loved our stay at Heligan this site really is a little gem and clearly run and maintained to the highest standard. We will definitely come and stay again. We have no hesitation in fully recommending Heligan Campsite to anyone it is an excellent site in every way and one of the best we have found.

Oh my goodness what an amazing place to stay. Our holiday home was spotless and extremely well maintained. The park was spacious and peaceful. Sarah and Andy the wardens were cheerful, helpful and the nicest people you could meet.We were less than 10 minutes from the Heligan gardens and buses. For peace, tranquility, location and views etc, this holiday site is a must and we will definitely be returning.

We stayed here for two nights in a tent camping on our way to The Lizard. Absolutely fantastic facilities, probably the best we’ve ever had when camping. The washing facilities, laundry room and shower blocks were all spotless! Couldn’t recommend it enough. It was also a 5 minute walk from our tent to the Lost Gardens so an ideal place to stay when visiting.
