About Holywell Bay Holiday Park

Legend has it that mothers once bathed their ailing children in the sacred spring hidden among Holywell Bay's rocks, and while you needn't believe in ancient myths, a stay here remains genuinely restorative. This sizeable park grants direct access through rolling dunes to one of Cornwall's finest beaches – golden sands, dramatic views, excellent surf, and rockpools perfect for paddling.

Facilities punch above their weight: a 300-foot waterslide plunges into the heated outdoor pool (May to mid-September), backed by toddlers' pool, all-weather sports courts, age-graded adventure playgrounds, and indoor soft play. The Starland Krew runs lively kids' club sessions for tots to ten-year-olds. Evenings bring singers, comedians, and quizzes to the Ellenglaze Bar and Grill, which serves Costa coffee and crowd-pleasing meals on its outdoor terrace.

Some visitors note the park can feel a touch tired in places and prices run a little high, but the spectacular setting and comprehensive family amenities still deliver a proper Cornish beach holiday.

Great location, enjoyed the fact it was a small park and liked the cove was a short walk from the site. I took my touring caravan and showers were good, the missus said there was alot of ants but not too much of a hindrance in the females.. pitches were a good size I thought! I loved WiFi was very minimal as you're sandwiched in between two large hills but missus was not so happy with it, not so much a kids park as not much to do arcades on site was the size of a standard living room there was two rooms quite dated and the restaurant and entertainment were in the same room so a quiet meal was a no go, however being a small site it's acceptable for space issues.. overall if you have kids and want to let them run free they may get slightly bored but if you're after a small quiet get away would recommend this place

We stayed in one of the Kelsey Caravans which had decking and it overlooked the site. It was a lovely, quiet location and we enjoyed eating outside. The outdoor pool and water slide were a big hit with my little girl. The walk to the beach took about 15 minutes. Clean, sandy beach, not crowded, RNLI life guards on duty, beautiful sea. If you're looking for fast paced, full on entertainment and a buzzing atmosphere, this site isn't for you. But for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday, with a warm, friendly feel, you won't get better than this. Great for kids, beach lovers and families. We can't wait to come back.

I really don’t like leaving negative reviews but my stay here was far from desirable. I booked myself and my family a gold deluxe caravan. Once I got to the caravan I noticed how filthy it was. It was a pet friendly caravan, which I did not book and was not specified in the booking. I don’t have dogs so I don’t appreciate dog hair over all the bedding. The sofa was filthy too and had sand in all of the buttons on the cushions. I went to reception and told them and the lovely lady on the desk sorted another van for the night. We spent the night in a silver van and were then offered a silver 2 bed van which was too small for my family. The manager finally sorted the original van out and deep cleaned it, which was welcomed but then meant that we had to wait for 2/3hrs whilst it was being cleaned. I’d been to Aldi and wasn’t able to unpack the shopping because I had no idea which van I was going to be in. I had to repack and then unpack and finally got to the original van. A lot of mess around for the first 2 days. The manager on reception compensated me with £50 of vouchers. Even after the deep clean, it still wasn’t as clean as it should have been. I’ve literally found dog hairs everywhere in the van. In the drawers, on the cooker, on the oven pans. There are no mops and only one broom (there should be one for the patio) in the caravan, so even if it was clean, you can’t keep it clean because there’s nothing to clean with. The wifi is shocking even the paid WiFi. The location is perfect and a short walk to the beach but that’s about it to be honest. The prices in the shop are extortionate as well as the prices in the club. I paid £18 for a “hunters chicken” which wasn’t even a full chicken breast and a few chips with 2 onion rings. The children’s food portions are small for the price. £8 for a kids meal. The swimming pool is ok but not as heated as you’d expect. Staff don’t seem to know what’s happening with booking or not booking. I wouldn’t return here again which is a shame because the location is lovely and has potential to be a great park.

Had such a great time staying in a bronze premium seascape caravan! Such high quality finishes and a lovely big bed, dressing area and super hot powerful shower! Kitchen incredibly well appointed with a small freezer space that fits more than you think in! So much storage space and overlooks the camping area so feels very rural. Great facilities and everyone so friendly. Shout out to Adam and Susan on reception and to Ellis at the pool who was so friendly and lovely. Will come and stay again. Loved the pool set up! And easy access to the beach. Arcades were fun and restaurant does great pizzas - get the Friday night deal! You may need to pay for the faster wifi as reception tricky in a valley but worth it at these bargain prices!
