About Crossroads Caravan and Camping Site
Tucked just outside Cubert village, Crossroads Caravan and Camping Site offers a no-nonsense base for exploring Cornwall's north coast. The campsite keeps things straightforward with electric hook-ups, clean facilities, and a genuinely welcoming feel for families and dogs alike.
Reviewers appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and helpful owners, though some note the site can feel a little dated in places. Still, its position makes it handy for reaching both Newquay's beaches and the quieter coves around Holywell Bay. If you're after a touring base that won't break the bank and doesn't overcomplicate things, this ticks the boxes.

What visitors say
The campsite is in a great location, near to beaches and Newquay. I’d say it is more suitable for people with units that have their own facilities. This is because there is only 1 washing up sink which is outside and not covered and it has no hot water. We were boiling the kettle all week to wash up. Also the sink in the toilet block only has a cold water tap for washing hands. There is 1 shower, costing 50p which has a concrete floor and a very thick rubber mat to stand on under the shower. It wasn’t busy when I was there but I can imagine that if the campsite was full then 2 toilets and a shower for women might not be enough.

Great location, friendly and thoughtful staff. Showers - 50p coin required and no mention of this prior to arrival or upon arrival. (Advertised as no hidden costs) also no hot water for washing up. Other than them two things site was great however these are quite important for a good stay. Thanks.

Wonderful little campsite, privately owned with a little cake shop on site. Kay is an amazing host, nothing is too much trouble and you get a real personal touch here.

A lovely little campsite, well maintained with simple but nice facilities. Near enough to towns for convenience but far enough away to be peaceful. The beach is just down the road and Kays Cakes on site make the visit all the better
