Tucked into rolling Cornish countryside near Liskeard, Siblyback Lake is a family-friendly campsite wrapped around the shores of a sparkling reservoir. The setting is properly scenic, and there's more to do than just admire the view: the on-site activity centre offers kayaking, paddle-boarding, cycling and sailing, making it ideal for active families. Pitches come with electric hook-up, and facilities cover the basics—showers, toilets, drinking water—though don't expect Wi-Fi.

Dogs are welcome, which adds to the relaxed, outdoorsy feel. Some visitors note that parts of the site can feel a little worn in places, but the location and range of activities more than compensate. It's a solid, uncomplicated base for exploring deeper into Cornwall or simply enjoying a few days by the water.

Lovely place for a walk. The path around the reservoir is well maintained and flat. Dogs on leads, although you'll get away with a well behaved one off lead. The Olive &Co cafe does excellent breakfast and cakes. It's dog friendly with free dog treats. Check opening times online. Parking was 2.50 for 2 hours or £5 all day.

Went for a nice walk. Dogs on leads, but there's a dedicated off lead area to run around. Had some nice brunch at the cafe. Paid parking.

Car park is ridiculous. There was no signal on either of our phones or any WiFi to pay the extortionate parking charges. The very small play area is very run down and not well maintained. The circular walk/cycle track is ok but it is all just too much hassle save time and money and head to minions or the falls.

Parking is a rip off here. You can’t walk around the reservoir in less than an hour here so ideally you’d need two hours if you just wanted to come for the walk. However the shortest parking options are for one hour or three, with no two hour option. You cannot rely on the staff to help with any parking problems as they claim the parking side of things are completely separate to the office/cafe side of things.
