About Sun Kissed Meadow
What a fabulous Cornish spot for an almost-wild camping adventure. Sun Kissed Meadow, near Callington, is pretty much off-grid – there's no electricity – but has lovely facilities to keep everyone clean and fed, including showers and a communal firepit area where you can swap stories with fellow campers. Home-grown seasonal veg and fresh eggs from the free-range hens are often for sale (dogs welcome, but do keep them under control around the chickens).
With fabulous views of lush Cornish hills, the site is a haven for wildlife spotters – woodpeckers and raptors are regular visitors – and walkers can explore the nearby Tamar Valley National Landscape within 10 minutes' drive. Adrenaline junkies can catch waves at Bude (55 minutes), while Seaton beach, half an hour away, offers more sedate family seaside days and year-round dog exercise.
The rural setting really comes into its own on clear nights, when you can lie back in the camping field and watch the Milky Way glittering far above, unhindered by light pollution.

Peaceful and quiet with great views, the on site manager was very friendly and welcoming. The site though is basic ref the facilities, just bear this in mind if you aren’t fully self contained.

Such a beautiful plot of land, the sun came right in. The shower was a lovely temperature and very nice to have a good shower! The shared hut was great, we were the only ones there so we got it to ourselves which was a treat. We had such a lovely time here, thank you!

Absolutely fantastic litte camp site! Owner is very friendly and welcoming. If you like peace and amazing views then this is the place to go!

Such a lovely peaceful location. All services on point. I stayed In bell tent and it came with all I needed. Just bought my gas cooker, food and wood for fire. Very chill thank you, I will be back.
