Bude Hideaway

Bude sits on the North Cornwall coast where golden cliffs meet a working beach town. Summerleaze Beach is a five-minute walk from this cottage, the sea pool ten minutes further, and the independent shops and cafés of Bude centre are all within easy reach. The South West Coast Path runs nearby, as do spots for surfing and wild swimming. Stay in one place and the coast unfolds around you.

Bude Hideaway sleeps four in two bedrooms upstairs, each with a super king bed (one can be arranged as twins on request). The bathroom has a bath and rainfall shower with handheld attachment. Downstairs, an open-plan kitchen and dining area opens onto a separate lounge with plenty of natural light. A utility room with washing machine and an undercover drying rack sits ready for wetsuits, beach towels and muddy kit. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are provided, and you have the whole property to yourselves.

The enclosed garden offers privacy for families and dogs, with an outdoor shower to rinse off sand and salt. One dog stays free; you'll find bowls, towels and throws already there. Parking is on site, and if you drive electric, an EV charger is available. The cottage is non-smoking. This is a practical base for beach days, not a showpiece—designed around what actually happens on a seaside holiday.
