By the Byre comes ready for immediate use. The ground-floor layout centres on an open-plan living space with woodburner, Freeview TV and patio doors onto a courtyard garden. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine—everything needed to cook properly or keep things simple. One bedroom has a double bed, the other a single; the wet room has a shower. Electricity, gas, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included, so there are no hidden costs or forgotten essentials.

The property sits down a quiet lane overlooking the River Neat and Bude canal, on the fringe of town. The enclosed courtyard garden has seating and a barbecue. Private parking accommodates two cars. One dog is welcome here. A short walk or cycle follows the canal and its path into Bude itself, where shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants cluster around the town centre. The North Cornwall coast and its beaches and cliff walks are within reach, making this a practical base for exploring the area. No smoking.

July 2026. Very Peaceful on pitch 5 which was level(ish) seperated buy neat hedges. This is a basic but very nice campsite with only water/recycling/elsan. Flat walk into Bude (15mins) via shared path and a nice 1.3mile circular flat walk to stroll the dog in the morning/evening next to the river (access to this is via connecting unlevel, stoney path through the trees opposite the campsite). One small negative is the toilet waste inlet port is way to small!! Would recommend visiting here.

Great little CL. Nice level, part hardstanding part grass pitches. Site is in a great location. Last half mile access is single track but not a problem. Will definitely return.

Fantastic place to stay. The host had everything thought out and the place was IMMACULATE. If you want a quiet cozy place to stay I highly recommend coming here. We’re already planning our next stay when we come down from Yorkshire
