Camelside

Wadebridge sits at the mouth of the River Camel, giving you immediate access to some of North Cornwall's best-known beaches. Padstow is a short drive away, as are Rock and Polzeath with their golden sand and surf breaks. The town itself has cafes, restaurants and shops along its historic streets. Camelside puts you on the riverbank with a balcony overlooking the water and the multi-arched medieval bridge that defines the place.

The whole ground-floor apartment is yours alone. One open-plan living space contains a sofa, TV and dining table facing out through glass doors to the balcony. The kitchen is fully fitted—electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine—so you can prepare meals using local produce or keep things simple. One bedroom has a double bed (4ft 6in), the other a kingsize (5ft), and both bedrooms have full bathrooms: one with a bath and shower, one with a cubicle shower. Central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. There's allocated parking for one car on site.

The balcony is the draw here—a place to sit with morning coffee and watch the river, or to settle in at dusk. No smoking inside.
