About Pendavey View Camping
Pendavey View Camping delivers exactly what its name promises: sweeping 360-degree vistas across Cornish farmland from an elevated position among wildflower meadows. The site's generous pitches – each a minimum of 15 x 20 metres – give everyone plenty of elbow room, while facilities are kept wonderfully simple: clean loos and showers, washing-up areas, and a dedicated dog-walking field threaded with grass pathways. Kids have space for ball games too.
The real draw is the location. A sloping path through grass and woodland leads directly to the Camel Trail, the 18-mile traffic-free route hugging the riverbank (road access available if you prefer easier terrain). It's a walker's and cyclist's dream, with bike hire close by. The site itself can feel delightfully remote, yet a cosy village pub sits just minutes on foot, and both Wadebridge and Bodmin are short drives for shops and meals. Campfires are allowed, adding to the peaceful, back-to-basics charm.

Incredibly peaceful and quiet location. Waking up to birdsong and going to sleep with stunning sunsets and bats overhead has been a real treat! The pup has loved the dog walking fields too - super safe and lots to sniff!
