Looe sits on the south Cornish coast where fishing villages and estuary walks form the backbone of local life. The Linney is a single-storey cottage within Cartole Cottages, a converted farm building with grounds where families and dogs can move about freely. You get the whole property to yourself: two bedrooms (one double, one with twin singles), a bathroom with bath and shower, and a combined living and dining space with a television and DVD player. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob and microwave for self-catering. Parking for two cars sits on site, and one dog stays at no extra cost.
Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are provided. There is a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer available (shared with other cottages), plus outdoor space with garden furniture and a barbecue. The setting suits people wanting to explore the local coast on foot—Polperro lies nearby, as does the Fowey estuary—or to use the village as a base for longer trips into Devon and further afield. Children have room to move without constraint, and the grounds include play equipment. No smoking inside.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. It's like home from home. Karl and Miles are such great hosts. The cottages are clean and spacious and beds comfortable. In between towns Looe and Polperro. Quiet location surrounded by fields of sheep. Play area for children is fun. Worth another visit.

Just returned after spending a week in kernewyck cottage. All furnishings were comfortable, settees, beds etc. the bedding was very clean and fresh. We had our two small dogs with us and there was ample space to exercise them around the cottage, there is a fully enclosed patio area. The kitchen was small but it had ample plates pans etc. It is a good base to explore Cornwall. The owners were away when we arrived but when they returned Karl came and introduced himself and check everything was ok. A lovely man. Would definitely recommend to anyone with children or dogs .
