About Great Kellow Farm

Perched on a working farm high above Polperro's historic fishing harbour, Great Kellow Farm offers spacious grass pitches—some with electric hook-ups—and those coveted sea views that draw campers back year after year. The modern shower block is spotless and well-appointed, with family bathrooms and wheelchair-accessible facilities, while the farm shop stocks local produce and fresh meat alongside camping essentials. It's a peaceful, dog-friendly spot with plenty of room to breathe and scenery that stretches from rolling countryside to the glittering coast.

The steep hill down to Polperro is walkable (many guests grab a taxi back up—staff can recommend one), putting village pubs, cafés and bakeries within easy reach. The South West Coast Path is less than a mile away, and longer drives unlock Looe, Fowey, Lanhydrock House and the Eden Project. Facilities are low-key but thoughtfully done: ice-pack freezers, multiple water points, recycling and chemical disposal all feature. It's a no-frills, high-scenery base that does the basics brilliantly.

Driving here is via some tight lanes with passing points but very large vehicles may struggle. One enters through the farm into 2 fields. One with ehu and without. I stayed with and the views were rather special. Pretty decent showers with plenty of hot water, rubbish bins and chemical toilet dump plus drinking water taps. There is a shop selling fresh meat and essentials but I didn't check it out. Takes about 20 minutes to walk down the hill to Polperro. No vehicles except for residents. Very pretty town with many charming streets. I cheated and took a taxi back up to the farm as the lane is pretty steep. A pleasant stay stay.

Lovely campsite right on top of the hill. We stayed on a windy night and got battered by some icy cold gusts (in June!) which wasn’t ideal, but not the fault of the campsite. Hot showers were incredible, and we enjoyed waking to the sheep and cows nearby.

Beautiful campsite, very peaceful and tranquil and in a great location to visit Polperro. Shop on site with basics. Shower/ toilet block is modern, and spotlessly clean. Very welcoming hosts.

Stayed in one of the static caravans here for a long weekend in October. Lovely quite site with great views to the sea and surrounding hills. Walking distance to Polperro (steep hill on the way back) making easy access to the coastal path and nearby beaches. Accommodation clean and well equipped, friendly easy going owners, farm reared meat available from the little shop. Would definitely recommend.
