About Trelay Holiday Park
Tucked into green Cornish countryside between the historic village of Pelynt and the coast, Trelay Holiday Park makes an excellent base for exploring South Cornwall's twin fishing harbours of Looe and Polperro, both ten minutes by car. The park itself feels spacious and well-kept, with level pitches on grass or hardstanding, plenty of trees for shade, and genuinely immaculate facilities including a large shower block, launderette and communal kitchen area. Families appreciate the play area and dedicated dog park, while those travelling with electric vehicles will find charging points on site.
Staff at reception are helpful and knowledgeable during opening hours (10am–4pm), and there's an out-of-hours number for any emergencies. Pelynt village, a ten-minute stroll away, has convenience stores, a butcher and a welcoming pub serving hearty food and local ale – handy if you fancy an evening off cooking. Some visitors note that the site can feel a little quiet outside peak season, but for many that's precisely the appeal.

What visitors say
We had a lovely 3 night stay here. We were lucky enough to be the first ones in to their new lodge, The Nook. It was lovely. Very practical in its layout, with a lovely jacuzzi and quite private. Everything was lovely, although a couple of little niggles with the new lodge, but sorted very quickly by the staff. The staff were so friendly and helpful and gave great advice about the surrounding area and places to see, eat out and have a drink. The whole holiday park is beautifully kept and very quiet. Highly recommended for a lovely stay.

We had a lovely long weekend break there. The staff are super friendly and go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The little touches they do really make your stay feel more special. The place we stayed in was clean and spacious. The hot tub was well maintained. The complex is clean and peaceful. We were fortunate enough to see shooting stars whilst in the hot tub as the skies were so clear. That was quite magical. It’s a great place if you want somewhere to unwind and relax.

We had high expectations for our stay here, but Trelay managed to exceed them all. The customer service was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond right from the start to make you feel welcome and helped sort out a minor issue very swiftly! The grounds are also exceptionally clean and tidy, which made the whole environment feel so peaceful and well managed. We couldn't be happier with our experience and stay.

We came the opening day of the wellbeing lodges and wow! How incredible. The accommodation is lovely, and the ambient lighting TV really had a massive impact - it felt like a completely new watching experience. The WiFi is super fast and all the kitchen mods and cons that you have at home! We chose the accommodation with the sauna and it was brilliant! The wellbeing garden is so beautiful. We had sauna, plunge shower, hydrotherapy hot tub (the jets were incredible and so relaxing!). It even had a gas BBQ and sun loungers and the garden was huge! It was very private and just so relaxing. At night when they lodges were lit up; with the beautiful path with wild gardens, palm trees and water features, you could have been mistaken for being in Spain or the Canaries. The staff are so lovely and welcoming, and the general area and landscaping are just tidy with water features and ambient lighting throughout. This is the perfect spot if you want some R&R as the wellbeing garden is all weathers (bar the BBQ and sun loungers obviously!) as the hot tub is covered, which is quite unusual to see! I will definitely be attending here again!
