Cheesewring Farm - Bickle Bice Barn

Photo: peter manning

Bickle Bice Barn is a ground-floor conversion on a working farm at Minions, where you step straight into a dining space with countryside views. The kitchen, fitted with gas cooking and a washing machine, opens from here—practical for preparing meals between days out. A sitting room with an electric fire sits a few steps down, lined with original farm features, while two bedrooms and a shower room complete the layout. One room has a king-size bed, the other two singles; essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen and Wi-Fi are provided, and a travel cot is available on request.

The barn suits walkers and families exploring Bodmin Moor. From the garden you can step directly onto the moor to reach stone circles, old mine workings, waterfalls and caves. The immediate landscape is protected as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and World Heritage Site. Longer drives take you to Looe, the Eden Project, Carnglaze Caverns, Bodmin Jail and Lanhydrock House. Private parking for one car is on site. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The property is non-smoking.
