Cowslip is a converted barn on the edge of Trewellard village, in the tin-mining landscape of far west Cornwall. The property has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping up to five guests. A double, two singles and another single spread across the first floor, with ground-floor living spaces that include a dining room opening onto a patio. One bedroom has a sea view. The barn's original character comes through in its exposed wooden beams, and a large grain lift—a relic of its farming past—remains as a feature inside.
The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. Heating and hot water are included, along with bed linen, towels and wifi. Initial logs for the multi-fuel burner are provided. There is parking for two cars on site. You have the whole property to yourselves; no smoking inside.
Trewellard sits on the scenic route between St Ives and Land's End, in an area scattered with the remains of tin mines—some perched dramatically on cliff faces. The Geevor Tin Mine and Heritage Centre is within walking distance, as are three pubs and local shops. St Just, with more facilities, is a short drive away. This corner of Cornwall is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, valued for both its industrial archaeology and its unspoilt landscape.

Rural craft workshops that hold courses, and sell beautiful materials for quilting, sewing, embroidery and crafting. Great on site restaurant, salvage, recycling ♻️ and garden and home shops in what was a farm setting, that now makes use of the barns and outhouse, where events are also staged. Surrounded by stunning views across the countryside.
