Trewellard sits in west Cornwall between two of the county's liveliest coastal towns, close enough to reach either within twenty minutes but far enough back to feel like genuine countryside. Groomscott occupies a converted 19th-century stable here, with glimpses of the Scilly Isles visible from the main bedroom. The layout keeps everything on one floor: a combined living and dining space with a woodburner, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, a bedroom with a king bed and another with bunks, and a bathroom with bath and shower. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included.
The rear courtyard garden is enclosed and private, with furniture and a barbecue; a decking area at the front catches morning light. Two cars can park on site. One dog is welcome. The ground floor design and confined spaces mean the property suits adults and older children rather than very young families, though the garden offers a contained space for those with pets.
The Southwest Coast Path runs through the surrounding landscape, and cycling routes branch out into the countryside. The Trewellard pub is within walking distance, and Trewellard Meadery sits nearby if you want to explore local food and drink beyond the village itself.
