Dew Cottage
Cornwall
Sennen Cove lies just a few minutes' drive away—a broad sandy beach backed by dunes, with a harbour, beach café, craft shops and a pub. The coastline here suits both surfers and those who want a quieter seaside break. Dew Cottage is a semi-detached barn conversion in peaceful countryside, with the owners living on the property.
Everything is on the ground floor, accessed via two steps. There's a living and dining room with a smart TV, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, a bedroom with a zip-and-link bed (which can be configured as two singles), and an ensuite shower room. Underfloor heating keeps things warm. A small enclosed garden with patio and furniture sits to the rear. One car parking space is provided, and the essentials—electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels—are included.
The property is best suited to adults, as children under 12 are not accommodated. West Cornwall's other attractions are within easy reach: Porthcurno, Mousehole, St Michael's Mount and Marazion are all a short drive away, while St Ives—home to the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Museum—lies on a scenic coastal road past moorland and old tin-mine ruins. The village of St Buryan, two miles away, has a shop, post office and pub. No smoking inside.
