🏡 Self-Catering Cottage

Fishermans Cottage

Families and couples looking for a genuine village base will find Fishermans Cottage delivers the real thing. This two-bedroom property sleeps four across two floors, with twin beds in each room, and sits in the thick of Port Isaac—close enough to the harbour that you can walk there in moments. The cottage has the low ceilings and narrow stairs of an old building; it is genuinely old, genuinely Cornish, and genuinely small, which is precisely the point. The ground floor holds a living and dining space where a TV, DVD and CD player are available, alongside a kitchen equipped for self-catering. Electricity, bed linen, towels and WiFi are included; there is a phone line if you need it.

Port Isaac sits on Cornwall's north coast between Padstow and Boscastle, and much of the village dates to the 18th and 19th centuries. The narrow lanes lead naturally down to the beach and the working harbour. The National Trust coastal path runs through, opening onto clifftop walks. Pubs, cafes, a supermarket and a garage cluster around the village, and a bus service connects the area. Nicki B's Pasty Shop is among the local options. Two car parking spaces are allocated, roughly 150 metres away, with unloading access at the door. No smoking. Check-in is after 4pm; checkout before 10am.
