Swallows Barn is a modern conversion on a rural estate near Helston, set within a World Heritage site and surrounded by woodland and open countryside. The property is yours alone, with its own garden and seating area looking out across the fields. Inside, everything is on one level: a living and dining space with television and DVD player, a kitchen equipped for cooking, and two bedrooms—one with a king bed and one with two singles—plus a bathroom with a shower over the bath.
The south coast around here is known for its beaches and coves; walking trails run through the surrounding farmland and woodland. Godolphin House, a significant National Trust property with links to Cornwall's mining heritage, is nearby. The area offers watersports, horse riding and golf courses within driving distance. A welcome pack is provided, and essentials including heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are covered. A cot and high chair are available on request. Parking for two cars is on site, and there is a bike store. No smoking is permitted.

Great fully modernised and tastefully furnished cottages at Gwedna Barns in a very convenient location betwixt St Ives and Porthleven. Geoff the owner is extremely helpful providing milk on arrival and a very thoughtful bottle of wine. We look forward to staying again.

Had a great stay here. Hosts were amazing. We stopped in long barn. It was beautiful, clean and tidy. Would visit again. Thanks so much

Lovely place to stay. Not suitable for wheelchairs or people with limited mobility. Beautiful location and setting. Loved sitting in front of the fireplace with wind and rain outside. Kitchen had everything needed, even dropped off some milk. Will definitely be going back.

Stayed at The Stable. Lovely place with great west facing far countryside view. Highly recommended. If you are light sleepers however it may be worth bearing in mind the metal bedframe is creaky and the wall to the neighbouring property is thin (ironic given the external walls are very thick solid stone) - so if unlucky you can hear your neighbours snoring!
