Helston sits in an area of significant mining heritage and outstanding natural beauty. The Stable is one of three converted barns on a rural farm set within a World Heritage site, approached through two acres of landscaped grounds with woodland. The property is yours alone, with its own enclosed garden and parking for two cars.
The Stable has been designed around the full height of the original building. High exposed beams frame the open-plan living space, where a wood-burning stove faces French doors that open to the garden. Downstairs there is a fitted kitchen with electric cooking, dishwasher and washing machine; upstairs, a king bedroom and a room with two single beds share a bathroom with shower. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and electricity are included. The shared grounds contain a children's play area and barbecue area among the trees.
The south coast nearby has some of the best beaches for walking and water sports in Cornwall. Godolphin House, a significant historic property, is close by. Smoking is not permitted in the property.

Great fully modernised and tastefully furnished cottages at Gwedna Barns in a very convenient location betwixt St Ives and Porthleven. Geoff the owner is extremely helpful providing milk on arrival and a very thoughtful bottle of wine. We look forward to staying again.

Had a great stay here. Hosts were amazing. We stopped in long barn. It was beautiful, clean and tidy. Would visit again. Thanks so much

Lovely place to stay. Not suitable for wheelchairs or people with limited mobility. Beautiful location and setting. Loved sitting in front of the fireplace with wind and rain outside. Kitchen had everything needed, even dropped off some milk. Will definitely be going back.

Stayed at The Stable. Lovely place with great west facing far countryside view. Highly recommended. If you are light sleepers however it may be worth bearing in mind the metal bedframe is creaky and the wall to the neighbouring property is thin (ironic given the external walls are very thick solid stone) - so if unlucky you can hear your neighbours snoring!
