Harbourside is a spacious detached house spread across three storeys in Bodinnick, sleeping up to seven guests. The ground floor opens into a living room with a wood burner and patio doors leading straight onto a sun terrace that looks down the River Fowey toward the sea. From here, a few steps down takes you into the kitchen and dining room, which has a full range of appliances including a dishwasher and washing machine. On the same level is a fourth bedroom with two single beds and a shower room.
Upstairs, three more bedrooms provide a mix of bed sizes: a kingsize, a double, and a single. The main bathroom has a bath with shower over. Heating is provided by underfloor systems in the kitchen and shower room, with electric heaters elsewhere; electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. A lawned rear garden and two-car parking space complete the setup. The property does not permit smoking. Penmarlam Quay, a short walk away with a boat park, slipway and cafe, suits anyone interested in water-based activities or simply riverside walking.

Location location location that sums it up, the best view over estuary and I visit most years in various properties over the last 56 years. A cold house though, be prepared to use the open fire, ran out of wood supplied in 2 days, directed to local shop when I enquired about additional supplies, going to cost £60 to get house to 22.5 degs. Central heating makes no difference and controlled by owner who offered no help when I explained feel the cold due to medication I have to take.
