The River Allen runs through the grounds of Hingham Mill Cottage, a listed mill conversion in the Wadebridge area with roots going back centuries. Inside, two bedrooms accommodate four guests: one with a double bed, the other with two singles. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. Downstairs, the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer—while the living and dining rooms provide comfortable space to gather. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. A patio and garden furniture overlook the water, and there is parking for one car on site. One dog can stay at no extra charge.

The Hingham Cottage is a really great place to stay. We stayed there mid July 2025 for a week with the two of us and the dog which was prefect. Weather was also great so we could have breakfast in the garden before we went on our way into Cornwall for the day. ALs there are two prefect morning walks along the river for the dog (halfway coffee available at the garden centre). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would welcome recommend this cottage.
