Padstow sits on the River Camel estuary where the coast draws walkers and cyclists onto the Camel Trail, which runs inland to Bodmin. The village itself clusters around its working harbour, with restaurants, independent shops and a traditional Cornish feel. Beaches at Rock and Polzeath lie about half an hour's drive away, while the South West Coast Path is within reach for those wanting longer walks. A pub and beach are under a mile away.
Honeysuckle Cottage occupies what was once the village primary school, kept in a Victorian building that still has its original character. Three double bedrooms sit upstairs—one with an ensuite shower—along with a family bathroom. Downstairs holds a living room with a Freeview Smart TV, dining room and a kitchen with everything needed for self-catering: electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and a separate freezer in the utility room. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are provided. There's private parking for one car and additional parking on road nearby. One small dog is welcome.
A sitting-out area with garden furniture overlooks the surroundings. The cottage is a four-minute walk from Padstow harbour itself. Check-in is after 16:00 and checkout before 09:30. Smoking is not permitted.
