Irisdene

Tintagel's position on Cornwall's northern edge means dramatic cliffs, rocky coves and the kind of Atlantic weather that makes you grateful for a warm base. Irisdene is a recently refurbished house that sleeps six, set back from the village itself with parking for two cars and a garden where you can sit out when the weather allows. One dog can come free of charge.

The layout spreads across two floors. Downstairs you'll find a living room with a smart TV, a separate dining room, a kitchen with an electric cooker, dishwasher and washing machine, and a guest toilet. Upstairs are three bedrooms—a king-size, a double, and a bunk room—plus a bathroom with a bath and double shower. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are all covered. The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering rather than holiday shortcuts, and there's a washing machine and tumble dryer if you need them. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available if you're bringing young children.

Outside, the back garden has a table for six and additional seating among potted plants. The area suits families wanting to explore the coastal path, visit Tintagel Castle's ruins, or simply spend time on the beaches nearby. No smoking anywhere in the property.
