Knights Den

Cornwall

Port Isaac's working harbour and narrow streets retain the character that made it famous as the filming location for a TV series, though the village draws people mainly for its position on the north Cornish coast. Knights Den sits on a quiet street here, a restored fisherman's loft with direct access to the coastal path and a short walk to the village itself. The cliffs, coves and sandy beaches that define this stretch of coast are within easy reach on foot.

The cottage has two bedrooms—a double and a single—plus one bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs, an open-plan living space includes a woodburner, a sofa bed, French doors onto a small Juliet balcony, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. The raised courtyard offers a sitting-out area, useful for quieter moments away from the village bustle. One small dog stays free. Electricity, heating, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are provided; logs for the woodburner are available locally.

The coastal path leads east to Polzeath, a hub for surfers and coastal walking, or west towards Rock and Padstow. Tintagel and its castle lie further along the coast. Wadebridge, an inland market town, sits a short drive away. A pub operates within a mile of the property. The nearest car park is 400 yards away, though unloading at the door is possible; parking by arrangement may also be available.
