Memory Cottage is a converted fisherman's net loft with direct access to Mevagissey's quayside. The open-plan ground floor contains a living area with Freeview TV and DVD player, a dining space, and a kitchen equipped with an electric cooker and microwave. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one double and one with twin single beds—and a shower room. Electricity and bed linen are included.
Mevagissey itself rewards a few days' stay. The harbour remains active with fishing boats and small vessels offering trips to Fowey. You can crab from the quay, buy fresh seafood, or walk the Cornish Coast Path to nearby coves. The village museum and aquarium occupy an old lifeboat station and have free entry. A cycle trail runs through the Pentewan Valley towards the Eden Project, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan—200 acres of restored Victorian gardens with subtropical woodland—lies 4 miles inland. Charlestown, 2 miles away, has a preserved tall ships harbour used as a film location, plus a shipwreck museum.
The cottage is non-smoking and sleeps four. Arrival is after 15:00, departure before 10:00.
