Port Isaac's working harbour sits at the heart of the village, lined with independent cafés and pubs, with a sandy beach below and boats constantly moving in and out. Nathan Outlaw's Michelin-starred restaurant overlooks the water. The village has become familiar as the fictional Port Wen from the Doc Martin television series. Moonraker stands on ground level throughout, a short walk from all of this.
The property sleeps six across three bedrooms: a kingsize with ensuite shower in the first, a second kingsize with DVD player, and two singles in the third. The main bathroom has both bath and shower. Downstairs, the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, with dishwasher and washer-dryer. The living room has a 49-inch smart TV and electric fire. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included. A travel cot is available.
Outside, a large lawned garden includes a private five-person hot tub, a summer house, seating and a barbecue. Parking for three cars is provided on the property. The garden overlooks distant sea views. Beyond the village, golf courses at Polzeath, Trevone and St Enodoc are within reach, and the Camel Trail—a flat, traffic-free cycling route following the estuary through Wadebridge and on to Bodmin Moor—is accessible from nearby Padstow, reachable by ferry from Rock. Smoking is not permitted.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Owners are very welcoming and it's kept in great condition. Only down side was the ramp up to the front door is a bit steep for a wheelchair and the door thresh holds to get into the porch and front door are a bit high. Other than that it is a beautiful place to stay. Port Isaac it self is beautiful but not great for accessibility if a wheelchair or mobility scooter user. Hot tub was the icing on the cake, great to come back to after a day out and relax in.

Very nice cottage with a hot tub and a view of the sea at Port Isaac. A few minor things gone wrong, Netflix not working, sound bar went wrong, shower seal broken and heater display very worn, but the owners seems happy and eager to come out and fix issues, so I'll give 5 stars!

This was our second visit to Moonraker - the first being July 2019 - and if I have my way it won’t be the last because it just ticks all the boxes for me. The bungalow is located in a great location, a short walk from the harbour of Port Isaac. It’s quite a steep walk though so be prepared! There is also a very well stocked Co-op a minutes walk away. The accommodation is bright, clean and comfortable, with plenty of space for 2 cars on the drive. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 spacious doubles (one with a shower en suite), a roomy twin and a large family bathroom. The living room has comfy sofas and large screen Smart TV with soundbar (which freaked us out at first as we couldn’t work out where the noise behind us was coming from!!) and the kitchen is very well equipped with all the plates, cups, glasses and cooking utensils you could wish for. We absolutely love the huge American fridge/freezer with integral chilled water, ice and crushed ice facility. The hot tub is probably one of the best I’ve ever had at holiday accommodation and the all-round garden means you get the sun all day long and t the highlight for us was being able to have perfect views of the sunset over the sea. The hosts Julian and Helen are so welcoming and approachable, nothing is too much trouble for them. Highly, highly recommended. Book it. You won’t regret it.

Amazing place. Really modern, great for families, well stocked kitchen. Hot tub is great, the glass panels to protect you from the wind are a great addition. Tv has Netflix! Easy walk down into port Issac. Small coop one minute away. Staying again in October.
