Number Five
Cornwall

Rock sits on one of Cornwall's most sheltered stretches of coast, where sandy beaches face out towards Padstow and the estuary beyond. Number Five is a ground-floor apartment in this village, with parking on site and direct access to the lanes that lead down to the shore and the local restaurants, delis and pubs. The property sleeps six across three bedrooms—one with a king bed and ensuite, two others with a king and twin single beds respectively—plus two bathrooms and a large open-plan living and dining space on one level.
The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and the basics for self-catering. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. An enclosed courtyard with garden furniture provides an outdoor space. There are two steps in the garden. The property takes families and couples; smoking is not permitted.
From here you can walk to Polzeath, explore the tidal estuary, or reach several golf courses with sea views. Water sports—paddleboarding, windsurfing, sailing, surfing—operate from beachside cafés. Daymer Bay's sand dunes shelter St Enedoc Church. The ferry to Padstow takes minutes, and restaurants including Michelin-starred venues are within reach.
