Rural Cornwall around St Austell has clay trails threading through country lanes, and Old Orchard Cottage sits within easy reach of them. The Eden Project lies just over a mile away—walkable in half an hour if you fancy the route through the landscape, or a brief drive. The village of Trethurgy is close by, and the coast at St Austell Bay opens up within minutes, with Charlestown's historic harbour and Georgian streets a short journey south.
The cottage is a single-storey property with everything on one level: a living and dining room with French doors onto a private courtyard, a kitchen with oven, hob and microwave for proper cooking, a kingsize bedroom, and an en-suite shower room. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are provided. There is parking for one car on site and an enclosed garden with seating and a barbecue. The place does not allow smoking.
A restaurant is half a mile away and a pub two miles; a shop sits at one and three-quarter miles. Knightor Winery offers tours and tastings, and the beach is three and a half miles off. This is a two-person property with the whole place to yourself.
