Orchid

Orchid is a contemporary house built for groups wanting more than a basic getaway. Set within the Woodland Retreat resort in North Cornwall, it has three bedrooms spread across two floors and three bathrooms, sleeping six. The ground floor opens into a living and dining space with patio doors that lead directly onto a decked terrace furnished for outdoor meals. A separate kitchen is fully equipped for cooking; everything you need for laundry is here too. Upstairs, the main bedroom has its own bath and shower, while a third bedroom opens onto a private balcony.

The property comes with heating and electricity included. A coin-operated sauna is yours alone; the resort also has a shared swimming pool, gym and steam room available at additional cost, along with a tennis court and children's play area. You have your own car parking space on site, and a garden with sun loungers. The house does not permit smoking.

This works well for families or friends sharing, whether you want to spend time together in the spacious living area or retreat to separate bedrooms with their own bathrooms. The resort setting keeps things quiet but gives you access to facilities beyond the property itself.
