Puckoo’s Nest

Puckoo's Nest is a contemporary townhouse built across three levels, positioned to overlook the tidal Gannel Estuary near Newquay. The reverse-level design means the main living spaces are on the first floor, with the principal bedroom suite at the top. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms accommodate eight guests; the ground floor holds two double rooms and a bunk bedroom, while upstairs there's a zip-and-link super kingsize with its own ensuite. All beds can be split into singles on request, and a cot and highchair are available for younger children.

The open-plan first floor combines living, dining and kitchen areas with doors opening onto a balcony. You can cook properly here—the kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and all the basics—and the space feels light and uncluttered. Air source heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. There's private parking for two cars, and a rear garden with sitting space. One dog stays free.

The location invites walking: down to the shore, across the Gannel to Crantock Beach, or along to Fistral Beach. The estuary itself is a nature reserve. No smoking inside, and check-in is after 3pm, checkout before 10am.
