About The Quies
Mountwise sits within easy walking distance of Newquay's beaches and shops, and it's on this quiet residential street that The Quies makes its home. The setting gives guests the best of both worlds: a peaceful base to return to, with the town's sand, cafes and attractions close at hand.
Rooms are air-conditioned and kept spotless, with en-suite bathrooms, comfortable beds and drinks available in-room. Family rooms are available for those travelling with children, and kids' meals can be arranged too. Breakfast is served each morning and is a highlight for many, while a bar and outdoor seating area give guests somewhere to relax in the evening. A games room, meeting rooms, free WiFi and 24-hour reception round out the practical side of things, and free on-site parking makes arriving by car straightforward.
Staff are on hand with local advice, useful given the range of things to do nearby: golf, fishing, horse riding, watersports, cycling and walking routes are all within reach, along with pubs, restaurants and entertainment. It's a well-equipped, convenient spot for exploring this part of Cornwall.

Cannot fault this hotel. Nell and Simon welcomed us with warmth and advice in relation to getting to the beach and good places to eat. The room was spotless and had everything we could need, and was also decorated beautifully. The location is also fantastic, with the shops and beach only a short walk away. Thank you Nell and Simon for giving us a lovely place to stay.
