Porthleven sits at the southern tip of Cornwall's working ports, its granite harbour and clock tower framing a village that has kept its fishing-village character despite growing visitor numbers. The South West Coast Path runs through it, making this a natural base for walking, and the village itself holds restaurants, cafés and a pub within easy reach.
Salvay is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage sleeping two, with the whole place to yourself. Downstairs, an open-plan living space combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas; the kitchen has what you need to cook properly. A shower room and back garden with seating and a barbecue are also on the ground floor. Upstairs is a double bedroom. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. There is on-road parking and a public car park nearby (charged). One well-behaved dog is welcome. No smoking.
The cottage suits couples or friends after a short break or longer stay, particularly those who want to walk the coast or explore on foot from the harbour. It is a five-minute stroll to Porthleven Harbour itself.
