Bodmin Moor and the North Cornwall coast are both accessible from Cross Cottage, a detached conversion at the end of a private lane. The moor itself is the draw for many—open moorland, stone tors, walking and cycling routes start from the doorstep. Trebarwith Strand is a 20-minute drive; other beaches like Polzeath, Daymer Bay and Trevone are 30–40 minutes away. The village pub lies within walking distance, and Wadebridge, Padstow, Port Isaac and Boscastle are all reachable for a day out. Lanhydrock, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are within easy reach too.
The cottage has two bedrooms—a double and two singles—and one shower room on the ground floor. The open-plan living space includes a woodburner, and the kitchen is equipped for cooking. Heating and electricity are included, as are bed linen, towels and wifi. One dog stays free; up to three are welcome. There is private parking and an EV charging point on site. A sitting-out area overlooks the neighbouring fields. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available by arrangement, as are a cot, highchair and barbecue. The property is non-smoking.

Cosy stone cottage with a footpath straight onto the Moors, nothing more is needed, but much more provided. From the super dry wood for the very efficient woodburner, to the garage space for our motorbikes, to the sunsets from the patio doors and the spring lambs in the field at the back. High View is a little gem of a space to spend a relaxing and peaceful week of exploring the Moors, the coast and we even went to Truro on the community bus and got to know the locals. Thank you Kate for providing such a super little holiday home.

Lovely location in St Brevard's, we stayed for a week. The local pub is within walking distance. Very quiet and peaceful, perfect location to explore Cornwall.

I’ve been going to this part of Cornwall for a number of years. I always stay at Sandy Barn Cottages. Kate is an amazing friendly host. A wonderful place in a superb location, perfectly placed to see all of the surrounding area. Absolutely brilliant. 5 star.

This is a little gem! Lovely peaceful cottage in a friendly village, with a great pub serving amazing food! A great place to stay for exploring beautiful Cornwall. Would recommend & hopefully we will return. Thank you Kate for a great stay.
