Spinnakers works well for families or groups of friends wanting a full apartment to themselves rather than a shared house. You get three bedrooms across one floor—a kingsize with ensuite, a flexible room with either twin beds or a superking, and a smaller double—plus a family bathroom with bath and shower. The open-plan living and dining space has kitchen facilities for cooking proper meals, and a balcony overlooking the area.

Essentials like electricity, heating, bedlinen and towels are covered, plus wifi to stay in touch. There is parking for two cars on site and a garden area. One dog stays free. The apartment sits in a central Newquay location, within walking distance of Fistral Beach, which draws surfers and swimmers year-round. Coastal paths and the Gannel Estuary are nearby for exploration on foot. Children under five can use a travel cot and highchair if needed.
