Penzance sits at the heart of West Cornwall, close enough to Lands End and Sennen's surf beaches to the west, yet looking east toward Marazion and St Michael's Mount rising from the sea. The town itself spreads along a working fishing harbour and a long flat promenade, with Morrab Gardens—celebrated for its banana plants and subtropical species—within easy walking distance. The Isles of Scilly are reachable by boat or plane. Newlyn, just along the coast, is known for its art school and galleries; Mousehole and its quaint harbour lie further on.
St Mary's House is a Grade II listed townhouse spread over three floors, built in the Regency era with Gothic Revival touches. It has four bedrooms: two doubles and two singles, across the ground and first floors, plus two bathrooms—a full bath on the first floor and a shower room on the second. The ground floor also holds the living and dining space with a Freeview television and an electric fire, while the kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and the usual appliances for self-catering. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. The property is yours alone—no other guests—with parking for two cars on site and a shared south-facing garden with a sitting area. One dog stays free and is welcome to use the garden, which is enclosed. No smoking inside.
The townhouse sits minutes on foot from Penzance's promenade and restaurants, art galleries, cafés and independent shops. It sleeps seven people and suits families or groups exploring the Cornish coast.
